West Ham United have been linked with a move for  Sparta Prague striker Adam Hlozek, with the Irons in need of added squad depth in January. David Moyes’ side are still in four competitions and will need further options if they are to juggle all four successfully.

What’s the story?

According to Football Insider, the Hammers have made an enquiry to sign the 19-year-old, with a fee of around £16m to £20m believed to be enough to lure the youngster away from the Czech capital.

The young striker enjoyed a prolific campaign in 2020/21, scoring 15 goals and registering eight assists in 19 league appearances, whilst this season has seen him contribute six goals and 11 assists in 23 appearances across the league and Europe.

West Ham should swoop for Hlozek

Given Hlozek’s young age, it would certainly be a signing for the future. However, the youngster has already been dubbed an “extraordinary talent” by his agent and could prove to be a bargain.

The Hammers have enjoyed an impressive start to the season and sit fifth in the Premier League, although David Moyes’ side have experienced a blip of late, winning just one of their last six league games.

Michail Antonio’s early form was a major catalyst for the Irons’ strong start, scoring six goals in eight league appearances. However, the Jamaica international has failed to score in his last nine appearances across both the league and Europe.

As a result, Moyes is in need of some extra firepower up front, and a move for the Czech Republic international could prove sensible, particularly for the long-term.

At 31 years of age, Antonio won’t be able to replicate the scoring efforts of the season’s early stages and the Hammers will need a reliable source of goals which will be sustainable and last for the long-term; Hlozek could provide that. Indeed, imagine what the two of them could be like if they get the chance to play together.

Já os santistas ficariam com 68 pontos mas, com três triunfos e três igualdades, ficariam na terceira colocação por terem duas vitórias a menos. O G4 ficaria completo pelo Palmeiras, que terminaria com 67.

NAS ÚLTIMAS VAGAS DA LIBERTADORES, BOTAFOGO E… ATLÉTICO-PR!

A briga pelas últimas vagas da Copa Libertadores também traria mudanças. Não em relação ao G7 (o Cruzeiro, campeão da Copa do Brasil, ficaria em quinto lugar, com 65 pontos). Mas, além do Botafogo, que terminaria em sexto, com 64 pontos, outro clube saltaria na classificação.

O Atlético-PR, hoje com 42 pontos, somaria outros 11 e tomaria o posto ocupado atualmente pelo Flamengo no critério do número de vitórias. O Furacão teria os mesmos 53 pontos do Rubro-Negro, mas um triunfo a mais.

Outros dois clubes que tiveram de espantar o rebaixamento terminariam o ano de forma honrosa: o Fluminense, em nono, com 51, enquanto o São Paulo teria os mesmos 50 pontos de Bahia e Vasco (mas levaria a melhor no número de vitórias). O Cruz-Maltino só conseguiria uma vitória e dois empates, e acabaria na décima-segunda colocação devido ao saldo de gols inferior em relação ao Tricolor baiano.

Quem também teria um desempenho decepcionante seria o Atlético-MG. O Galo teria 48 pontos (seis a mais do que já possui), enquanto a Chapecoense teria 47 pontos.

UM Z4 DECIDIDO PELO SALDO

Por mais que a luta contra o rebaixamento esteja acirrada, curiosamente, o quarteto que verá a Série B de 2018 seria o mesmo deste fim de rodada. A única mudança seria em relação às colocações.

A Ponte Preta, com 43 pontos, trocaria de lugar com o Vitória e abriria a lista de “condenados”. Mas seu descenso seria de amargar: ficaria com o mesmo número de pontos do Sport, mas perderia no saldo de gols.

Já o Leão da Barra ficaria com um ponto a menos, enquanto o Avaí terminaria a competição com 41 pontos. O Atlético-GO encerraria sua participação no Brasileirão com 31 pontos.

MS Dhoni has credited Zaheer Khan and the other bowlers for the thumping ten-wicket victory over Bangladesh that secured a clean sweep.Bangladesh had frustrated India by moving along to 290 for 3 soon after the drinks break in the morning session, and were even looking good to pose a stiff challenge for the injury-riddled Indian batting line-up in the fourth innings.However, they imploded spectacularly – losing their final seven wickets for 22 runs – to be bowled out for 312, and setting India a target of just two runs. The collapse was sparked by the spinners before the pace and movement of Zaheer wrapped up the innings three deliveries after lunch.”It was a difficult task to get wickets in this track, both for spinners and pacers,” Dhoni said after collecting the series trophy. “But all credit goes to the bowlers. They really put their best to get those 20 wickets, especially Zaheer’s spell.”The ball was getting old and the wicket was getting slower and slower,” he said. “This is a reason we decided to bowl first in this wicket. وواصل: “منذ الإعلان عن تشكيل منتخب للسيدات انتظرت أسابيع حتى يتواصل معنا أي مسؤول في اتحاد كرة اليد وبعت للمدير الفني الكابتن رامي عبد اللطيف – مدربي السابق في الأهلي وعارف مستوايا – ألف مبروك وتمنيت له التوفيق وشاف رسالتي وتجاهل الرد، (قلت استني يا رحاب أسبوعين كمان يمكن مشغول)، وبعدها أرسلت له رسالة بسأل عن موقف المحترفات لأن الدوري في فرنسا سيتوقف خلال بطولة الأمم الإفريقية وكذلك الأمم الأوروبية، وبالتالي معنديش أي التزام مع فرقتي ومستعدة لنيل شرف تمثيل منتخب مصر”.

وأكملت: “أرسلت رسالة للكابتن أيمن صلاح مدير المنتخبات واتصلت به عدة مرات، ورغم ذلك يتجاهل كافة الاتصالات والرسائل التي أرسلها له، اتصلت بالدكتور محمد الأمين رئيس اتحاد كرة اليد وهاتفه مغلق أو لا يرد”.

وواصل: “مفيش مسؤول في اتحاد كرة اليد قالي ابعتي يا رحاب أي مباراة نشوف مستواكي؟ مفيش مسؤول في اتحاد كرة اليد أو مدرب سألوني بتلعبي في كام مركز دلوقتي داخل الملعب؟ تفاصيل كتير ساكتة وشايلة في قلبي ومش عايزة أتكلم”.

وأردفت: “10 سنين عانيت فيهم من الغربة والانكسار والصبر والمعافرة ومفيش مرة مسؤول في اتحاد كرة اليد اتصل بيا وسألني عاملة إيه يا رحاب، مفيش مسؤول في اتحاد كرة اليد تابع معايا أي حاجة ولا سألني عندكم مشاكل أو محتاجة أو دعم من الاتحاد، ورغم كده صبرت وناشدت عشرات المرات بضرورة تشكيل منتخب أول للسيدات وبعد تشكيله قالوا (مش عايزين محترفات!)”.

وأستكملت: “بقالي أيام بعيط وببكي لوحدي عارفين ليه ؟ لأن معايا محترفات من المغرب والكونغو والسنغال وتم استدعائهن من اتحادات بلادهن، عارفين القهر والحزن والوجع اللي جوايا، سنين من الصبر والمعافرة والوجع والألم والانكسار والنجاح عشان اكتسب خبرات وأكون لاعبة متميزة قادرة على نيل شرف تمثيل منتخب مصر، رحلتي كانت صعبة والله وتعبت جدًا لحد ما وصلت للاحتراف في أوروبا”.

وواصلت: “أنتم بتكسروا حلمي وحلم كل بنت بدأت حياتها من الصفر عشان تشرف بلدها وتلعب باسم منتخب مصر، ،بنت مصرية صعيدية بدأت حياتها من مراكز الشباب حتى وصلت العالمية يتم استبعادها من اتحاد كرة اليد لأسباب مجهولة”.

Having lost their latest Championship game 1-0 against relegation strugglers Derby County on Monday, some West Brom fans were not shy in sharing their criticism of Baggies boss Valerien Ismael and his post-match comments saying that the players need to take responsibility for the defeat.

With this in mind, the upcoming January transfer window could give Ismael the opportunity to not only strengthen his squad but also get some Baggies fans back on his side with a few exciting transfers.

One deal that Ismael could look to complete which would surely delight a lot of West Brom fans and boost their chances of securing promotion would be to pull off the signing of former Baggies loanee Okay Yokuslu.

Labelled a “forceful” player earlier this year by West Brom podcaster Adrian Goldberg, the £6.3m-rated Turkey international has only made six appearances for Celta Vigo in La Liga, all of them coming off the  bench. That would suggest that he isn’t an important figure for the Galician outfit and could be better off making a move to somewhere like Albion where he could get regular playing time.

With a recent report claiming that the fan favourite midfielder would be willing to make a return to the Midlands after enjoying his six-month spell on loan there last season, this could be just what Ismael needs to not only strengthen his midfield but also bring some positivity back for the supporters.

In his 16 Premier League appearances for the Baggies last term, Yokuslu’s performances earned him an overall season rating of 6.96/10, making him their joint-highest rated player alongside Matheus Pereira according to WhoScored. That shows how much of an impact he had at the club and suggests why many fans would surely be delighted to see him return.

Taking this into account and the reports that Robert Snodgrass could be on his way out of the club next month, West Brom should do all they can to bring Yokuslu back to The Hawthorns to see if he can fire them back to the Premier League by the end of the campaign.

A informação é do Dr. Rene Abdalla, que operará pela segunda vez o meia do Fluminense em 2017 – em julho, Marquinho passou por uma artroscopia no mesmo joelho por conta de uma tendinite patelar.

Em contato com a reportagem do LANCE! nesta terça-feira, Dr. Abdalla afirmou que a lesão mais recente sofrida por Marquinho não tem qualquer relação com o primeiro procedimento cirúrgico – ou até com a lesão anterior do camisa 7.

– Não há qualquer relação porque na primeira cirurgia nós não mexemos na estrutura. Retiramos o tecido inflamado (que causava a tendinite) e tivemos o cuidado de fazer a transposição do tendão para reforçar o local – explicou.

A princípio, o procedimento cirúrgico será realizado nesta quinta-feira – o jogador já é aguardado em São Paulo. A equipe do Dr. Rene Abdalla, que realizou a primeira cirurgia em julho, aguarda o meia para fazer as últimas avaliações do caso antes de operá-lo no Instituto do Joelhodo HCor – Hospital do Coração,referência na reabilitação de atletas profissionais de futebol.

With the January transfer window now open for business, this will give Rangers and their manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst the chance to make any changes to their squad that they feel will be beneficial and give them the best chance to secure the Premiership title once again this season.

One potential deal with which the club have been linked this month is a loan move for Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville.

With nine goals and eight assists in 24 appearances for Leeds’ under-23 side, the 20-year-old certainly has some attacking talent in him. He could be given the chance to flourish at Rangers considering that he has only made five appearances in the Premier League for Marcelo Bielsa’s team so far this season, all coming off the substitutes’ bench.

Taking into account Summerville’s clear attacking abilities on the pitch in terms of scoring and creating goals, his potential move to Ibrox this month could give Van Bronckhorst the chance to create a deadly attacking duo of him and Alfredo Morelos, who has 13 goals and four assists in 29 appearances this season across all competitions.

If Rangers were able to secure the signature of Summerville this month and get him delivering similar returns to those in Leeds’ under-23 side alongside Morelos, this could be just what Van Bronckhorst could need to lead the Light Blues to a second consecutive league title.

Labelled a “bag of tricks” by his former manager Chris Powell, Summerville could be an exciting prospect for Rangers fans to see at Ibrox for the remainder of the season.

However, with recent reports suggesting that English Championship club Blackburn Rovers are also interested in signing the Dutchman on a loan deal this month, this could scupper Rangers’ hopes of signing him, especially if Leeds feel he could be better off staying in England rather than experiencing Scottish top-flight football.

With that in mind, Rangers will need to act quickly to convince Summerville and Leeds that he will be better off at Ibrox and get the opportunity to play regularly, which is presumably what all parties would want if the winger were to leave Elland Road on a loan deal in the coming weeks.
