يفكر نادي مانشستر يونايتد في التقدم بعرض للظفر بخدمات النجم هاري كين من صفوف فريق توتنهام، في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي المقبل.

وكان هاري كين قريبًا من مغادرة توتنهام في الصيف الماضي، حيث رغب في الرحيل من أجل خوض تجربة جديدة والبدء في الفوز بالبطولات.

وأبدى مانشستر سيتي رغبة قوية في التعاقد مع هاري كين، وقدم أكثر من عرض مالي قوي لـ توتنهام، إلا أن الأخير رفض ذلك وتمسك بالإبقاء على اللاعب الإنجليزي في صفوفه.

وحسب صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية، فإن مانشستر يونايتد لديه رغبة في اتخاذ خطوة صيفية لضم هاري كين نهاية الموسم الحالي.

وأوضحت أن ذلك الأمر قد يعني وجود لم شمل محتمل بين هاري كين ومدربه السابق في توتنهام ماوريسيو بوتشيتينو، حال انتقال الأخير إلى الأولد ترافورد كمدير فني جديد للشياطين الحمر.

وأشارت إلى أن مانشستر يونايتد يراقب تطورات مستقبل هاري كين عن كثب، حيث أن الأولوية الآن لـ مانشستر سيتي تتمثل في ضم إيرلينج هالاند نجم بوروسيا دورتموند.

كين، الذي سيبلغ من العمر 29 في يوليو، سيكون أمامه عامين على عقده هذا الصيف، وسيرغب رئيس توتنهام دانيال ليفي إما في ربطه بعقد جديد طويل الأمد، أو المخاطرة بإبقائه حسب عقده الحالي، ومن ثم رحيله مجانًا فيما بعد.

Speaking exclusively to The Transfer Tavern, former Wolves striker Steve Bull thinks his old side could look at Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui in their bid to replace Nuno Espirito Santo.

Nuno shocked supporters when it was announced on Wolves’ website last week that the 47-year-old will be leaving the club after four successful years at Molineux.

It, of course, leaves the Midlands outfit needing a new manager, and various reports have suggested that ex-Benfica boss Bruno Lage is one of the frontrunners to succeed his compatriot.

Bull, however, would not be surprised to see his old club turn to someone like Lopetegui, who has been getting mentioned by supporters on Twitter.

Asked by TT whether he could see chairman Jeff Shi and Jorge Mendes headhunting the 54-year-old Sevilla manager for the position, the Wolves legend said:

“I think so, I think so. There’ll be names bandied left, right and centre. If [Jose] Mourinho was free, you would have dropped him in the hat as well. But, you know, it’s just a lottery at the moment.

“I’m like all the other Wolves fans, waiting with bated breath to see what’s happened or what’s going to happen in the future.”

Lopetegui came close to joining Wolves back in 2016, something he previously confirmed to the MailOnline.

The Spaniard has managed his country, Real Madrid and, of course, Sevilla, where he won the Europa League in 2020, so he would be quite some appointment for Wolves.

According to a report by the Sun, the promise of first team football ‘could be enough’ to convince Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus to make the switch to Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

The Lowdown: Spurs and Jesus…

Recently, Spurs have been touted with interest in the Brazilian as part of a possible swap deal for star striker Harry Kane – who is now believed to want out of north London this summer (Sky Sports).

The coronavirus pandemic ensures that clubs do not have mounds of money to spend when it comes to blockbuster transfers and part-exchange deals may be seen as a good alternative.

Reports suggest chairman Daniel Levy could demand up to £200 million for Kane with City apparently interested in using makeweights to bring his asking price down.

The Latest: Jesus could be convinced by Tottenham move

Sharing the latest on Tottenham and Jesus, the Sun believe that the 24-year-old joining Spurs as part of a Kane swap deal is far more likely than Raheem Sterling, who is now being touted with another potential switch to Arsenal.

It is believed Jesus’ £90,000-per-week wages won’t be a problem for the Lilywhites, even if they are increased, and the promise of first team football could convince him to join Spurs this summer.

He bagged nine goals and four assists in 22 Premier League starts for the Premier League champions over 2020/2021 (WhoScored), and despite the departure of club legend Sergio Aguero, Jesus is still not seen as the man to lead City’s forward line.

The Verdict: Do it Levy…

Lauded as an ‘incredible fighter’ by his manager, Pep Guardiola, Jesus is revered at the Sky Blues for his work off the ball and other aspects of his game than goalscoring acumen – including a tireless work rate (mancity.com).

He is prolific at finding the net too, however, having scored 103 career goals in total across his spells at both City and Palmeiras.

Valued at around £54 million by Transfermarkt, Levy could feasibly bypass a fee entirely if he was included in a swap deal for Kane.

The Englishman would undoubtedly be a huge loss for the club, but Jesus is arguably a capable alternative if plenty of cash comes Spurs’ way as part of the deal as well.

Frank McAvennie has shared some insight on Daniel Levy and what he may be thinking about a potential mega swap deal for Tottenham Hotspur.

The Lowdown: Manchester City propose swap

As per The Sun, Manchester City are prepared to offer both Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus plus cash in a bid to try and prize Harry Kane away from Spurs.

Sky Sports reported last month that the England international captain has asked to leave North London in the summer transfer window, with City as well as Manchester United and Chelsea registering their interest.

The Latest: Levy insight shared

Speaking to Football Insider, McAvennie, who is now a pundit after playing as a striker for the likes of Celtic and West Ham United, says any deal will be on Levy’s terms:

“Why would Sterling want to go there?

“They aren’t winning anything. If Levy is going to let Kane go, it’s going to be money. 

“From what I hear about him from my sources, he won’t be dictated to. So any deal will be on Daniel Levy’s terms. 

“Sterling is at a club where you’re guaranteed a trophy every season. Tottenham don’t win things. 

“The reason Sterling won’t go is the reason Kane wants to leave. If City want him, they will have to stump up the cash.”

The Verdict: Tottenham must get deal right

THFC must get any deal spot on if they are going to sell Kane in the summer, especially to a rival in the Premier League.

It seems as if the 27-year-old has set his sights on leaving, and it is better to sell an unhappy player rather than keep him at the club.

There are not many if any other strikers currently on the market who are capable of replacing him, so it may be a wise idea to try and cherry pick one or two players from the buying team in order to try and make up for some of the loss.

If Tottenham did end up selling to City, then Sterling should be a player of interest, given that he would likely slot straight into the side, and at 26 years of age, can still get even better.

The Englishman has become a superstar in Manchester, scoring a total of 151 senior goals for club and country over the course of his footballing career so far (Transfermarkt), racking up three league titles and six domestic cups.

Jesus would be another one given that Spurs would need to bring in another striker, and while selling Kane to a direct rival is not ideal at all, it would mean that they could still weaken MCFC in this aspect.

وأضاف: “ترينكاو لاعب رائع ولكنه لم يلعب معنا لفترة طويلة، هذا الخيار مدروس جيدًا، سنرى”.

وفيما يتعلق بارتباط نادي برشلونة بضم رافينها لاعب ليدز يونايتد، قال لابورتا: “إنه لاعب رائع، يقوم ديكو (وكيله ولاعب برشلونة السابق) بعمله ويبلغنا بالتفاصيل، لدينا تقارير جيدة عنه، لذلك لا نرتكب أخطاء، وفي بعض الحالات ساعدنا كثيرًا”.
