أعلن مدافع الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي ماميلودي صن داونز، ريكاردو ناسيمينتو، الرحيل عن بطل دوري جنوب إفريقيا قبل بداية مجموعات دوري أبطال إفريقيا للموسم الحالي 2021/2022.

وتنطلق تلك المرحلة من البطولة يوم الجمعة المقبل، ويستعد صن داونز لمواجهة الهلال السوداني في إطار مباريات المجموعة الأولى التي تضم كلاً من الأهلي والمريخ.

وتواصل “btolat.com” مع الظهير البرازيلي المميز والبالغ من العمر 35 عامًا، والذي تألق في أكثر من مباراة أمام الأهلي في السنوات الماضية، وقال: “نعم، سأرحل عن صن داونز”.

وأضاف: “عقدي لم ينته مع الفريق، ولكن هناك اتفاق توصلت إليه للرحيل من صن داونز، والبحث عن نادٍ آخر”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “سبب الرحيل كان لأن صن داونز قد تعاقد مع لاعب أجنبي آخر والفريق لا يمكنه الإبقاء على أكثر من 5 لاعبين أجانب، وبالتالي، قدموا لي عرضًا لإنهاء عقدي ووافقت عليه”.

وعن وجهته المقبلة: “هناك الكثير من العروض المقدمة لي، أدرسها في الوقت الحالي لاختيار الأفضل بالنسبة لي في المستقبل”.

وبسؤاله إذا كان هناك عروضًا من الدوري المصري، رد: “لا، لم أتلق عروضًا من مصر، ولكن فقط من جنوب إفريقيا”.

With Raphinha lighting up the Premier League this season, all eyes will be on what Leeds’ summer signing can do in his next campaign in English football.

The Brazilian has been an absolute revelation since signing from French side Rennes, scoring six goals and providing a further six assists in the top-flight.

He’s undoubtedly been one of the main reasons as to why Marcelo Bielsa’s side find themselves in the top half of the Premier League table with just a few games to go.

But while Raphinha has been exceptional, Leeds could actually take his game and his numbers up that extra notch by bringing in Brentford’s Ivan Toney this summer.

Reports in recent days have suggested that the Bees would be open to selling him, and that they believe he has a better Premier League pedigree than Ollie Watkins, who, of course, is now shining for Aston Villa.

The £16.2m-rated Toney could give Raphinha a real lethal centre-forward to work alongside, and someone who is not only a prolific goal-scorer, but can also link up with his teammates too – he has an impressive ten assists in the Championship already.

Speaking last year, his former club Peterborough’s director of football, Barry Fry, said: “He’s turned into a tremendous all-round footballer. It’s important to remember Ivan is not just an exceptional goal-scoring forward, he’s also an outstanding defender.”

The 25-year-old is ruthless in front of goal, having managed to find the back of the net a whopping 29 times in just 39 league games – that’s not to mention the fact he’s only missed six official big chances all season.

Compare that to Patrick Bamford who’s missed three times as many (18), even despite playing far fewer games (31).

Raphinha would fancy his chances of grabbing a lot more assists with Toney leading the line for Leeds, while he might be more likely to be on the end of some opportunities himself given that the Brentford ace has created more big chances and averages more key passes per game than Bamford.

Bielsa could form a devastating Leeds duo by signing Toney this summer.

Sunderland had one task that stood tall above the others during the winter transfer market; find a left-back.

It was Kristjaan Speakman’s biggest priority as he embarked on his first window in charge of their recruitment.

Unfortunately, it didn’t really pay off. The Mackems were linked with a number of left-backs, including Wimbledon defender Paul Osew.

They ultimately ended up with Jake Vokins, landing the young full-back on a loan deal from Southampton.

On paper this looked like a wise move. Vokins had played against Arsenal in the Premier League just a matter of days before penning terms in the north-east.

Things haven’t worked out for the Saints defender since signing though, enduring a horrendous debut that was described as one of the worst in the club’s history. His game time has since been halted by the ongoing pandemic and a worrying heart problem.

Though, on the field of play, it’s Callum McFadzean who has been left to take the majority of criticism.

He has been the mainstay at left-back while Denver Hume recovers from injury and it’s safe to say he’s been well below par.

The 27-year-old has been caught out on a number of occasions this term and has been left stranded by a whole host of wingers and flying full-backs.

McFadzean was given the run around by Otis Khan in the EFL Trophy final as the Tranmere defender completed four dribbles.

The Mackems full-back was led a “merry dance” by Olamide Shodipo against Oxford United and was again terrorised by Mallik Wilks in the draw with Hull City this week.

Wilks beat him on countless occasions, providing two assists for the Tigers’ goals. With that in mind, a left-back should be near the top of Sunderland’s agenda again this summer.

Back in January, the Black Cats were touted with a switch for young Hibernian talent Josh Doig.

The defender is just 18 but has caught the eye of not only the lower leagues but also the likes of Leeds and Manchester City.

Luring him to the Stadium of Light, therefore, would be quite the accomplishment but it’s something they have to do.

Doig is very adept going forward and has contributed to four goals in the Scottish Premiership this season. Crucial, though, are his defensive attributes.

The teenager is very strong in the tackle and has won 1.7 challenges per match. That tally significantly betters McFadzean who has made just one successful tackle a game in League One.

It might not mean much to Sunderland supporters but Doig comes with a glowing recommendation from a certain Jack Ross too: “He has been brilliant this season for a young man who has just turned 18,” the Hibs boss said.

With a high ceiling and plenty of potential, the Scottish defender definitely seems like a better option than McFadzean. The Black Cats must try their best to prise him away.

قرر نادي مانشستر سيتي الاستئناف ضد قرار إيقاف لاعبه الإنجليزي كايل ووكر الظهير الأيمن للفريق، لثلاث مباريات ببطولة دوري أبطال أوروبا.

وطُرد كايل ووكر في مباراة لايبزيج بعد تدخل عنيف على أندريه سيلفا، في دور المجموعات ديسمبر الماضي، ومن المقرر أن يغيب عن مباراتي دور الـ16 أمام سبورتنج لشبونة.

وأكدت صحيفة “ديلي ميل” الإنجليزية، أن نادي مانشستر سيتي قرر الاستئناف على العقوبة مع اقتراب عودة دوري الأبطال، ويستشهد النادي في استئنافه على سوابق أخرى في المواسم الأخيرة، تشبه ما حدث من كايل ووكر.

ويرى النادي أن ثلاث مباريات عقوبة قاسية على لاعبه الإنجليزي، ويبحثون عن تخفيض فترة الإيقاف.

ويرى مانشستر سيتي أن ما حدث من نيكولو باريلا ضد ميليتاو في مباراة إنتر ميلان وريال مدريد في نفس اليوم الذي طُرد فيها ووكر، لم تستدعي الإيقاف سوى مباراتين فقط.

وكذلك الحال مع الإيقاف ثلاث مباريات لأندريه يارمولينكو أثناء وجوده في دينامو كييف في 2015. وخُففت عقوبة المهاجم إلى مباراة واحدة بعد تدخله بقوة على يونس سانكاري.

ويأمل السيتي في إقناع الاتحاد الأوروبي لكرة القدم، بأن العقوبة المفروضة على ووكر كانت قاسية للغاية من خلال تقديم تلك الأمثلة.

وكان ووكر صرح الشهر الماضي: “بطاقتي الحمراء ضد لايبزيج كانت سيئة للغاية وخطأ غبيًا، لا ينبغي أن يرتكبه لاعب بالغ من العمر 31 عامًا بكمية المباريات التي لعبتها”.

واختتم: “أنا إنسان، أرتكب أخطاء وأتعلم من ذلك، آمل أن يبرر أدائي من الآن وحتى نهاية الموسم ذلك وأنا أحصل على بعض الألقاب مع فريقي”.

Many Sunderland fans have been reacting to the news that the club will take part in an nationwide social media boycott next week to combat racism.

While there are huge strides still to be made, it feels as though football, in parts, is finally ready to combat racism in the sport. Taking the knee prior to matches as part of the Black Lives Matter movement is now common practice, and players are regularly speaking up about the abuse they are receiving. Players and staff from several clubs, including Rangers, took part in a week-long social media boycott earlier this month (Sky Sports).

As such, Sunderland have confirmed that they too will be coming off social media next weekend. They shared the news on their official Twitter account, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters – some were wryly pleased that they at least wouldn’t hear from the club after a disappointing result, while others felt the gesture was meaningless.

قال مرتضى منصور رئيس نادي الزمالك، إن انتخابات 2009 كانت مزورة، مُشيرا إلى أنه كان هناك العديد من الوقائع التي أثبتت تزويرها من قبل ممدوح عباس – على حد قوله – رئيس القلعة البيضاء السابق.

وعقد مجلس الإدارة مؤتمرا صحفيا اليوم للحديث عن خطة المجلس المنتخب في الفترة المقبلة بعد الفوز في الانتخابات الأخيرة.

وأكد مرتضى منصور أن صناديق الاقتراع لم تكن مشمعة ومختومة وتم بطلانها بحكم من القضاء المصري المحترم بسبب غباء المزورين، موجهًا الشكر إلى رئيس الوزراء الذي حرص على متابعة العملية الانتخابية لحظة بلحظة.

كما وجه مرتضى منصور الشكر إلى وزارة الصحة على تنفيذها للإجراءات الاحترازية أثناء انعقاد الجمعية العمومية للنادي الأبيض، موضحا أن وزارة الصحة أرسلت سيارات الإسعاف تحسبا للطوارئ.

وأضاف في المؤتمر الصحفي الذي عقده مجلس الإدارة اليوم أنه يشكر موظفي النادي والعمال المحترمين الذين لم يتدخلوا في الانتخابات، مضيفا أنه حذر لاعبي الفرق المختلفة من دعمه في الانتخابات.

وشدد على أن لاعبي فريق الكرة والألعاب الجماعية كانوا يريدون إصدار بيانات لدعمه ولكنه حذرهم من ذلك لأنه وضع بند في اللائحة يمنع أي موظف أو لاعب بالنادي من الدعاية في الانتخابات.

ووجه مرتضى منصور رسالة إلى أحمد سليمان المرشح على مقعد الرئاسة في انتخابات النادي الأخيرة، قائلا: “أقول لأحمد سليمان كيف تهدد الدولة المصرية عبر منشور على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “فيسبوك”؟، وكيف تهدد البلد وأنت ضابط شرطة وزميل لشهداء الوطن؟”.

وواصل رئيس الزمالك تصريحاته قائلا: “سيتم الاستعانة بالعديد من المرشحين المستقلين الذي لم يوفقوا في الانتخابات في بعض لجان النادي مثل ماجد قيشو في اللجنة الطبية، ومروة في لجنة المرأة، وهشام نصر وسامر أبو الخير في لجنة الشباب وغيرهم من المرشحين المستقلين المحترمين”.

وشدد مرتضى على أنه يرفض جميع أعمال البلطجة التي شهدتها الجمعية العمومية الأخيرة للنادي لانتخاب مجلس الإدارة، موضحا أن هناك من تعمد افتعال الأزمات والمشاكل يوم الانتخابات.

وأكد على أن من أخطأ سيتم محاسبته، مضيفا أنه سبق وقام بمنع مندوبي قائمته من توزيع أوراق الدعاية لقائمته داخل خيمة الانتخابات.

Former Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie has told Football FanCast in an exclusive interview that his old side will struggle to replace Ollie Watkins if they sell him this summer.

Watkins only joined Villa from Brentford in the last summer transfer window, but there are already rumours about other clubs being interested in the 25-year-old striker.

According to Football Insider, Liverpool are keen on bringing in a new forward before next season and like the look of Watkins.

It is not hard to see why, with the England international managing to reach double figures for goals in his debut Premier League campaign.

Hendrie, though, has warned his former club about selling the player, believing that they would struggle to find an adequate replacement.

On Liverpool’s reported interest in Watkins, the ex-Villa star told FFC:

“If you’re going to start selling those players to the bigger clubs, how are you meant to compete? I get that you’re possibly going to get £60m for someone, but then who do you go and buy that’s going to replace Ollie Watkins?

“You’ve got to go and spend decent money on someone to go and bring him in and then it could possibly be a gamble.”

Whether Watkins stays at Villa Park or not, it seems the Midlands club will be in the market for a new striker this summer.

The Telegraph reports that strengthening up front is a priority for Villa going into the 2021/22 campaign.
