Sam Allardyce is good for one thing and one thing only. It is not pretty, nor is it much wanted by fans, but sometimes it is a necessary and painful procedure some must suffer if they want to survive in the Premier League. A bit like losing a leg to save one’s life.

Regardless of an extensive history that would suggest the Englishman could strike at any point, Everton fans probably thought themselves exempt from the Allardyce treatment. They had been one of the strongest teams in the competition, if not a little inconsistent at times, realistically what did they have to worry about. Ah, so very much.

Much in the same way that weeds thrive in certain conditions, Sam Allardyce comes to life in a struggling squad with very few ambitions other than fighting survival. Everton just so happened to be one of those teams in 2017.

A disastrous run of games under Ronald Koeman had left the Toffees into the lower half of the table and lost the former Southampton man his job, despite claiming European football the season before. There was only one thing for it: slap the panic button. Like Gotham City when they needed Batman the most, Sam Allardyce’s face was beamed onto the Liverpool skyline and the 63-year-old duly answered signing a short-term contract in November to run until June 2018 (as per The Guardian). Presumably when the Everton boardroom expected the mission to be complete – and not a day longer.

Allardyce may have hoisted Everton out of the relegation zone, but the mind-numbingly boring style that paved the way was too much for fans to handle. Take yourself off to a park on a Sunday morning and you will pretty much see the fundamentals of the former England manager’s style play out.

Allardyce was sacked just six months after taking the job.

Unsurprisingly ‘Big Sam’ has not yet been offered another job in management, and as the game moves on from his archaic style, we doubt he ever will. Instead, he bides his time and scrutinising others in the game as a pundit. People like Everton boss Marco Silva, who responded to his criticism in January (as per Daily Mail): “OK, maybe if it is David Moyes I would listen, because he did something really important at this club. But in this case it is not important at all.”

Chelsea remain on course to have a decent season this term despite plenty of chat about Mauro Sarri not getting what he should out of his team.

The Blues can still capture the Europa League, while they also remain on course to land a spot in the top four, something which would surely constitute a successful season for the Italian manager.

However, there is a big summer ahead for Chelsea, with the club in the midst of a transfer ban – something they are indeed appealing – and looking at some of their top stars like Eden Hazard potentially moving away from the club.

If Chelsea can indeed overcome the transfer ban though, then we here in the Tavern feel like they need to be going all out for Ajax defender Matthijs De Ligt, who despite interest from Barcelona has revealed that he might well be interested in a move elsewhere in the summer.

The Ajax youngster has been nothing short of superb for the Dutch side this year, leading from the back as Ajax have moved within one game of landing a spot in the Champions League final.

Ajax have a historical link with Barcelona which has naturally led to De Ligt being linked with a move for the defender, but Chelsea are desperate for younger players in their squad who are ready made for first-team action, something which De Ligt falls right into.

It does of course come down to Chelsea being able to get some good fortune from the powers that be in relation to their transfer ban, but if they can get out of it, then signing De Ligt has to be a priority.

وأضاف: “ستحب جماهيرنا ما حققناه وسيلتقون صورًا لجدول البطولة الآن، بالنسبة لنا هذا أمر لطيف ولكن ينبغي ألا يقضي ذلك على جوعنا لتحقيق المزيد، يجب أن نظل جائعين ويجب أن نشعر بأن أي شيء يُعد ممكنًا مع هذا الفريق”.

وواصل: “يجب أن أكون فخورًا للغاية، لقد تطورنا ليس بالكثير من الأموال المستثمرة ولكن مع الكثير من العمل المستثمر، لقد حققنا بعض النتائج الجيدة في الشهرين أو الثلاثة أشهر الماضية وكان من المهم أن يرى الجميع أن الفلسفة التي نتبعها يمكن أن تكون ناجحة”.

وتابع: “إنه لأمر مدهش ما يفعله فريقي في الوقت الحالي، تهانينا للجميع في الملعب وللفريق والجماهير، إنه لأمر مخيف بعض الشيء ما نقوم به في الوقت الحالي لنكون صادقين ولكن ليس أمرًا مفاجئًا عندما أرى ما نعمل عليه”.

BBC Football pundit Mark Lawrenson has delivered his last set of Premier League score predictions for the season ahead of the final day on Sunday, and he has made an interesting claim about Newcastle United.

What’s the word, then?

Well, the Magpies travel to already-relegated Fulham this weekend in what is a largely meaningless match for both sides, with only the visitors able to finish higher – by a single place – in the top-flight standings.

It is no surprise then that Lawrenson was keen to focus on what the uncertain future of Toon manager Rafa Benitez instead, talking about what the future holds for the Spaniard under owner Mike Ashley.

The former Liverpool boss’ contract runs out this summer, as of yet there has been no suggestion as to whether he is going to stay or not – the fans have certainly made it clear what they want.

Lawrenson certainly seems to sympathise with Ashley when it comes to investing his own money though, telling BBC Football:

“The big questions, as ever, for the Magpies are will manager Rafa Benitez stay, and will he get the money that he wants to spend?

“I think the answers are ‘yes’ and ‘no’… but he will get some of it, and enough to make some more improvements to his squad.

“We already know Magpies owner Mike Ashley is never going to splash the cash, because he could give Benitez £100m and he is realistically only going to finish seventh, at best.”

Fair comments?

They probably are, yes.

Even if Benitez was given a war-chest to spend by the controversial business tycoon, he would undeniably find it difficult to finish any higher than seventh.

The likes of Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United have been so inconsistent this season, yet seventh-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers are still nine points adrift of the latter.

It will therefore be difficult for Newcastle to make a dent in the top six, but Lawrenson has also missed the point slightly.

What’s the point for the Tyneside outfit and their supporters if they can’t show the ambition to go and try and do exactly that?

Otherwise they will just keep petering along and finishing in the bottom half of the Premier League year after year, with no hope of doing anything more.

Showing that willingness to at least want to push on is important, and in Benitez the Magpies already have the man capable of taking them a lot closer to where they dream of being.

يُذكر أن الزمالك يستعد لمواجهة منافسه الأهلي مساء يوم 27 نوفمبر الجاري في المباراة النهائية من دوري أبطال إفريقيا.

Sunderland fans have become used to seeing Jimmy Dunne star at the heart of their defence as of late, but come next season they’re going to need a new defender to fill his shoes as the 21-year-old will be returning to his parent club. That’s where Deji Oshilaja comes in, the classy Wimbledon centre-back who HITC Sport claim could be Sunderland-bound.

The 25-year-old centre-back has been key to the Dons’ miraculous escape this season. The League One club looked destined for relegation but have fought back against the odds to stay up, and their captain has been key to that. However, with his contract expiring next month it could be time for the defender to move on, and Sunderland would be a brilliant next step for him.

Jimmy Dunne will almost certainly be missed, that much is guaranteed, but the fact that the Black Cats could be set to replace him with Oshilaja will make the blow of Dunne returning to his parent club much easier to take. It also makes sense for Jack Ross to be targetting players on permanent deals instead of relying on an influx of loanees every summer.

The next few weeks will be key for the Mackems. Promotion still hangs in the balance and after they overcame Portsmouth 1-0 at the Stadium of Light anything is possible as they prepare themselves for what promises to be a nail-biting second leg at Fratton Park. The last thing that the Wearside club needs is another season in League One, although either way Oshilaja will be welcomed with open arms.

The challenges of the Championship will be tough, as the Wearsiders found out last season, but if they are able to beat off Pompey and then either Doncaster or Charlton then the recruitment will need to start immediately as they aim for a strong return season in the second-tier. Jimmy Dunne will be a distant memory by then, and hopefully bringing in Oshilaja from Wimbledon won’t be the only move they make.

Celtic fans have already been given both good and bad news about the future of their backline for next season. Dedryck Boyata will be off to Hertha Berlin in the Bundesliga, but Filip Benkovic will be returning on loan. Now, though, it’s up to Neil Lennon to ensure that Jozo Simunovic stays despite The Scottish Sun’s claims he could move to La Liga.

The Croatian U21 international has been sublime this season. The move that’s being linked, if you haven’t clicked the link above, is a £4 million switch to mid-table Spanish league side Alaves. However, after a cracking season at Parkhead with plenty of high points for the Celtic man, Neil Lennon will be desperate to retain him for next season to avoid causing too much change to the side’s defence.

Even if Simunovic was to leave the club, the £4 million that is being touted is a pathetic price tag. The Bhoys’ defensive rock has a Transfermarkt valuation of £2.93 million and if he to be allowed to leave then the Parkhead faithful will expect a bigger fee for his departure. Ideally, though, the 24-year-old will stay on at the club and nail down a partnership with big Benkovic for next season.

There’s no doubting that Celtic will need to bring in a defender of some sort to fill in at the back to cover the exit of Dedryck Boyata, but whilst the club are looking for someone a little bit better than Marvin Compper, they don’t want someone to come in and keep Jozo out of the side. His form has improved dramatically in recent weeks, and goals have come in the second phase of the season too.

In the final five games of the season, Simunovic managed two goals, as you will all know, against Kilmarnock and Aberdeen in back-to-back games. The one that mattered the most was his goal on 67 minutes against Killie, as being the Celtic #5 it made the perfect tribute to Billy McNeill, and it would be fitting for him to stay on and become a Parkhead legend, just like the famous #5 McNeill before him, even if he never will match the Glasgow great’s achievements.

وجاءت القرارات علي النحو التالي:

– تغريم اللاعبة سمر حمزة ٥٠ ألف جنيه لما نسب إليها من اتهامات

– ايقاف ممدوح فرج مدرب المصارعة النسائية لمدة عامين وتغريمه ٣٠ ألف جنيه.

– إيقاف أحمد ممدوح فرج لمدة عام وتغريمه ٢٠ ألف جنيه.

– شطب اللاعب إسلام ممدوح فرج من سجلات اتحاد المصارعة.

– توجيه اللوم لمجلس ادارة اتحاد المصارعة لما لقيته لجنة التحقيقات من تقصير واضح منه تجاه المعسكر وعناصره المختلفة وزاد مجلس إدارة اللجنة الأولمبية على مذكرة لجنة القيم،  بتوجيه إنذار أخير لمجلس إدارة اتحاد المصارعة لتكرار وقائع الخروج عن النص والمواجهات.

وكانت اللجنة الأولمبية، تحركت بعد ساعات من الواقعة، وعقدت جلسة مع أطراف الواقعة في اليوم التالي بحضور ممثلي وزارة الشباب والرياضة وجميع أطراف الأحداث.

وأحالت الأمر إلى لجنة القيم برئاسة المهندس ياسر إدريس، بعد ايقاف جميع المتورطين لحين انتهاء التحقيقات وتولى قاضي التحقيقات المستشار أحمد حافظ التحقيق مع الجميع ، لتنتهي لجنة القيم إلى توصياتها ، ثم اعتماد مجلس الأولمبية لها بعد دعمها بإنذار اتحاد المصارعة
